The SnapStream API will serve writs: signed, versioned restart instructions that operators can fetch and verify before acting on them.
Writ fetch and verify
A writ names a restart plan and carries signatures from the parties behind it. The API will let an operator pull a writ and check those signatures against the current authority set before treating it as valid.
N of M signatures
A writ needs signatures from N of M independent parties, not one. SnapStream is one voice among them, so it cannot set restart or consensus parameters by itself.
The API is not live. It goes live once the writ authority set is in place. Coming soon at api.snapstream.tech.
